H.P. Lovecraft double feature


Like Lovecraft? Well, if you do, and you live in Philadelphia, you need to be at The Rotunda tonight. Two movies based on the work of H.P. Lovecraft - The Call of Cthulhu & The Whisperer in Darkness - will be projected on their monster-size wall, and admission is FREE. For the love of Cthulhu, get there by 7:30!

Specimens

I'm a bad blogger. I realize this. But I haven't forgotten about this little corner of the internet; I've just been busy with other things. Anyway, hi.

Last month, I had the honor of taking part in the Art Show of Horrors - part of the Mausoleum Horror Con here in Philadelphia. The event was held at PhilaMOCA, a former showroom for mausoleums and monuments, which is now an arts space.

I used this show as an opportunity to create two new pieces of art - "Specimen I" and "Specimen II". If you've ever visited Philly's Mutter Museum, and you know how big a fan I am of the place, it's easy to see where the inspiration for these pieces came from.

The Art Show of Horrors has since been taken down, but I wanted to make sure my images could still be seen. So here you go:
