The Mummy


A couple weeks ago, I was lucky enough to attend a Secret Cinema screening of The Mummy (1932). What made it extra special was the fact that it was shown in this room:


That's the Lower Egypt gallery of the Penn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Could the setting have been more perfect?


After my last visit to the museum (prior to this screening, that is), I was inspired to create the image below, entitled "Under Wraps". By the way...ahem...prints are available...
